We have recently started a Free Computer Training Centre for the poor and disadvantaged persons. We have this centre located at the heart of Nagercoil city in a spacious office with ten computers. Currently there are three batches of students and their classes are 5 days a week. We cover the basics of computers, Windows OS and MS-Ofice. Our students range from school children to elderly women.
Sponsors / donations for this project is welcome. Education is the best form of donation one give to a poor and needy person. That would help him / her stand on their own feet. Every other type of help is temporary in nature.
We propose to increase the number of batches gradually and also the number of computers. In about three months time, we plan to also offer job oriented training like DTP / Tally (Accounting Software) etc.
